Birds Wars is a movie spin-off of Star Wars IV: A New Hope. It is an official movie for Angry Birds: Television. The movie is similar to the original (Star Wars), but has a few differences other than characters.

Cinematic release[]

On October 30, 2020, Birds Wars was officially released in Regal Theaters country-wide in the United States. Polls conducted by both Rovio (partnered with AB Studio) and Disney (owner of Lucasfilm) indicated that it was "one of the foremost productions loved by Americans in 2020." By January 22 the next year, Bird Wars was out of the theaters and made its first showing on public TV on Angry Birds: Television.

Synopsis[]

Nineteen years after the formation of the Empire, Red Skywalker is thrust into the struggle of the Rebel Alliance when he meets Obi-Wan Kenobi, who has lived for years in seclusion on the desert planet of Tatooine. Obi-Wan begins Red's Jedi training as Red joins him on a daring mission to rescue the beautiful Rebel leader Princess Stella from the clutches of the evil Empire. Although Obi-Wan sacrifices himself in a lightsaber duel with Lard Vader, his former apprentice, Red proves that the Force is with him by destroying the Empire's dreaded Pig Star.
