Cows are a race of sentient bulls/cows that debut in Angry Birds 3: The Final Flocktier, and appear in Angry Birds: Out of Darkness.
2000 years before the events of Angry Birds, the Cows created the islands to rule over the inhabitants they enslaved. They created the Diamond Turtle to be the ultimate weapon to keep the population in check.
1300 years later, the Cows create the Cirrocumulus. The Cirrocumulus were meant to be guards and enforcers for the Cows.
Soon the Cirrocumulus, Birds, and Pigs start a rebellion and the Cows were almost made extinct, but before they were eradicated, the remaining Cows were made into spirits and were left dormant for thousands of years. Until the Pigs revive the Cows, along with King Cow and Queen Bovine. The Cows defeat the Birds and enslave the Pigs. The Cows are defeated by the Birds. The Cows later return with the New Imperial Order led by Malice.
