Angry Birds Space: Relaunched (abbreviated as ABSR) is the sequel to Angry Birds Space by Claybear11. It shares gameplay just like that to its predecesser, where the player must fire the birds at pigs through gravity field.

Story[]

Backstory[]

Five months after the events of the original Space game, the birds, Red, Chuck, Bomb, Matilda, Terence, and the Blues, are back on Earth watching their eggs. However, while they were getting comfortable, a portal appears in the sky, reminiscing of how the first journey began in the first Space. However, this time, the portal sucks up the terrain the birds and the eggs were residing on, back into outer space. The birds get sucked out of the portal and into the cargo hold of a ramshackle spaceship. They knew who to blame. They it was the pigs. As if the symbol of the pigs on other spaceships weren’t a clear enough indication. After gathering their anger, the birds escape the ship’s cargo hold and fly into space. However this time, they did have their powers, and froze in the frigid space. Their frozen bodies get caught in a gravity and are pulled into a planet. The impact renders them unconscious, however, and are found by a Moon-sized spaceship.

Area 1: The Chopper[]

The birds wake up in a prison of a large spaceship named the Chopper. They see a pig with some keys and decide on how to get them. They fake that they need medical attention and call the guard for help. The pig enters the cells to check the birds. Bad move. Before he could react, the pig is crushed by Terence. The birds use the keys to escape and fight their way through the Chopper using a makeshift slingshot that the pigs made. At the end, they encounter a gruff pig named the Wardam, piloting a makeshift spider-mech made from wood. After destroying the engines, the birds pop the Wardam, and find a prison cells with a familiar face to the flock (except Matilda), the Ice Bird. Ice Bird explains that King Pigs is attempting to use alien technology to find eggs across different planetary bodies and establish his piggy empire. After that, Ice Bird shows that the pigs have been attempting to make chemicals to help give the pigs the ability to breathe in space. The birds drink the potions and have their superpowers from the original game restored. Ice Bird then guides the Birds out of the Chopper to an important place; a place where King Pig has a base set up.

Area 2: Strongham Stronghold[]

The flock reach a large tower standing atop of a jungle planet. It looks similar to the planets from Brass Hogs from the original ABS. They see pigs carrying alien eggs into the tower. The birds spend the first 10 levels getting through the jungle and defeating pig guards to breach the tower. They enter the tower and find a loading bay for pigships (pig spaceships) to transport eggs. It was like a mineshaft. But for eggs. Halfway through the episode, they rescue a native to the planet. A purple-pinkish bird-like creature simply named Alien Bird. Alien Bird joins the flock so she can rescue her unborn children from the pigs. At the top of the tower, they find a pig in charge of the egg-sweeping operation, the Eggscavatork. The Eggscavatork uses a crude egg catching helicopter armed with vacuums and a large net. The birds shoot down the copter and defeat the Eggscavatork, where afterwards, he drops a blueprint which tells of an important location to the pigs. The birds set off to find this location.

Area 3: Pig Rip[]

The pigs have set a laboratory in the first area of the first ABS episode, the Pig Bang. They find a laboratory set in the heart of the planet-field. The flock enter the field and confront the Foreman Pig, driving the large tank that King Pig used in the first ABS. The birds kick the foreman to the curb, and find a machine opening a pink portal, not unlike the one that sucked them into space. They enter the portal and find themselves in a different location; a hidden factory.

Area 4: Factoroink Pigspection[]

Emerging from the portal from the last episode, the flock explore the factory they found themselves in. They find a production line for not only the pigships, but also snortries (robotic pig sentries). 20 levels in, they birds watch a testing site in the factory from a viewing balcony from afar through unbreakable glass. They see Thin Pig, (who is Fat Pig from the original ABS who shrunk drastically.) wearing a hazard mask bungee jumping into a violet portal, and coming out of it with eggs. The birds saw this, and decided to put an end to this. At level 29, they confront the Thin Pig, who fortifies himself in a strong tower. Overconfident, Thin Pig eats a huge amount of sweets within his refuge. The birds beat him anyway, but before they can relax, the portal sparks, and something emerges from it. A freakish monster bird called a Beast Bird. The Beast Bird bites onto Thin Pig’s head and attaches itself to him. Thin Pig gets back up possessed by the Beast Bird. The birds defeat the Beast Bird and knock it back into the portal, which deactivates immediately afterwards. The birds worry this, and leave the factory.

Area 5: Mighty Desert Eagle[]

The birds reach a moon covered in sand and storms, and find more native creatures having their eggs stolen. There, the birds reunite with Bubbles and a new ally, a robot recreation of Red named Poultron Prototype who betrayed the pigs. The newly formed flock journey across the moon and encounter King Pig’s right-snout Pig, Ross, who has been given space superpowers. The birds defeat Ross by using the floating debris and flee from the moon.

Area 6: Galacpig Empigre[]

The flock find a horrifying piece of information from a stray helmet pig; King Pig is hosting a large feast, and the entrees are nothing but alien omelettes. They also learned that it is there that King Pig will show their ability to use violet portals to find an unlimited supply of eggs. They knew this meant trouble. If the birds had that much trouble with a Beast Bird a while back, they knew now there would be another incident, which many more Beast Birds to follow. The birds reach the largest fleet of pigships they ever laid eyes on, and must hurry to King Pig’s lair — before it is too late. They birds survive the fleet and finish their assault by defeating Corporal Pig, the commander of the piggy fleet. They enter King Pig’s ship-fortress complex, and seek to finish this fight.

Area 7: Operation: Eye of the Stork[]

The flock enter the fortress, and hear nothing but the squeals of Pigs craving eggs from King Pig’s royal domain. The woke a sense of urgency and also nostalgia in the minds of the birds. They hurry through the complex and confront King Pig, showcasing his violet portal machine. The birds confront King Pig, using his old UFO as a weapon. Only by throwing him into an electrical generator can the birds stop him. After defeating him, the birds go to the portal machine and destroy it. The portal closes and the birds celebrate and steal the alien eggs. However, before they can react, the violet portal reopens, and a Beast Bird appears and steals the eggs from the birds. One of them possesses King Pig and speaks using his body saying that they are getting they deserve for stealing their inter dimensional eggs. They also say that they will attack their universe and take over all life in it, as long as a single portal is open. The Beast Birds retreat back into the portal, taking King Pig with them. The flock know they must prevent this by defeating whatever monster is responsible for keeping the portal open. Ross joins the flock to help his king. The birds and pig jump into the portal and begin their final battle for the adventure.

Area 8: Final Cacawssault[]

With Ross on their side, the birds journey through the nest of the Beast Birds, and reach the heart of it. There they encounter a deformed Beast Bird with the ability to warp reality named the Abyssal Bird. Using the constantly changing gravity, the birds use floating debris to defeat the Beast. To make sure that it is defeated, Ice Bird charges at it and freezes, and the entire all at once charge and break it’s frozen body. The nest starts collapsing after it is destroyed. They escape with King Pig and the stolen eggs, with the portal closing behind them. The pigs plans for an eggy feast are foiled and the Beast Bird‘s attempt to invade had been prevented. Alien Bird is reunited with her soon-to-be children, and Poultron and Ice Bird stay become partners to protect space. Ice Bird opens a portal back to Earth. The flock return to their planet along with the pigs. The story ends with the flock and pigs rejoicing that they are back on Piggy Island. Immediately after the celebrations have cease, King Pig steals the eggs from the flock’s nest and quickly runs away. The birds knew that that meant everything was back to normal.
