History[]

Colonization and Expanding[]

In June 2014 PPT (Piggy Planet Time), Ten Bechturonish sailorbirds who spoke Spanish, set sailed for new land to colonize, while at the same time, a sounder of Portuguese speaking Pigganian pigs set out for the same land. In August, all the sailors met up on an island, and became friends, who even though each other their native languages, and even made on their own.

Meanwhile, on Earth, two Spanish astronomers found that the islands were discovered, and told Piggy Planeteers about this discovery. Many Spanish speaking birds and pigs went to the islands and built cities. The leader of the sailorbirds, Triplos Penguinos, was promoted to Prime Minister and established the islands as a country of his own, The Porcalonos Islands!

Búho Island is the largest island in the Porcalonos archipelago by area, located in the southwest of the country. Its largest, most populous, and capital city is La Pluma. La Pluma is a very rocky city for two reasons, being that it's a slightly mountainous city, and that almost all its buildings are made of stone. Búho Island was named after its first governor, Ala Búho, who lives in La Pluma and still governs the island today. The division of Búho consists of the major island Búho, along with more than 50 much smaller islands near it, only the major island of Búho is shown on the flag of this division.

Paloma Island is the seventh largest island in the Porcalonos archipelago by area, located in the west of the country. Its only city so far is Nido City, where everything else is either a town or village. Nido City is nicknamed the "City of Plants" by many Porcalonians (they actually call it "Ciudad de las Plantas"). Nido City is covered in plants such as grass and trees, this provides living space for many birds who would rather live in trees. The first bird to step into the forested habitat if Nido City was Huracán Nido, who got heavily inspired by the several tall trees to use his tornado powers and whip up a beautiful tree city. There is a statue of him in the center of the main city park carved from the giant tree that stood there. It is without a doubt Nido City is the best place in all of Paloma Island to live, according to most of Paloma's population.

Tarronocturno Nieve Falarop was the first discoverer of this island and lives in Golondrina, but likes to visit Diosingenio in his spare time.
