Angry Birds Reborn is a dedicated sequel to the original game, released on July 10th, 2021. The game follows 5 birds trying to get vengeance from the pigs. Upon release, the game only had 3 episodes, but saw a massive spike in popularity for Rovio in general after years of losing fans. As of June 2022 (08/04/2020 for AB Fanon users), development on Angry Birds Reborn has been postponed to mid 2023, to give a break to the developers, and for them to plan Season 2.
