This tribal shaman has learned the ancient ways of Star Magic, and uses it skillfully.
Appearance[]
A round brown bird with grey chestfeathers, headfeathers, and tailfeather. He has oval-shaped eyes with eyebags under them. He has a triangular, orange beak. His staff is made out of brown wood with a circular cutter at the end.
Powers and Abilities[]
Irawọ can slice through any living thing with his staff, but it won’t hurt or leave a cut. Instead, it charges their soul with Star Magic for him to command. He can do any of the following things on a sliced target:
- Stardust Explosion - Irawọ causes a stardust explosion on a sliced target, injuring them and knocking them back. The power of the explosion magnifies the more Irawọ slices a target.
- Stardust Tornado - Irawọ summons a massive tornado made out of stardust to attack all the targeted souls within its range. It’s only usable if Irawọ slices a single target 12 times.
- Star Transport - Irawọ summons a large, yellow, glowing orb that encapsulates whoever Irawọ slices (it can be more than one entity), and transports them to a destination within it’s range. The distance it can travel increases with the number of slices on the target(s).
- Empower - Irawọ uses the star power within the target’s soul to fuel them with power and greatly increase their abilites. It’s only really useful at around 6 slices.
- Star Beam - Irawọ fires a burning beam of yellow starlight to hit whoever is in it’s path and burn them to extreme extents. This can only be used if Irawọ slices any amount of entities 25 times.
Ability In-Game[]
When the screen is tapped, Irawọ slashes forward with his staff, breaking glass and damaging wood. If the staff hits a pig, the pig will explode in stardust, destroying whatever is next to it and knocking stuff further from the pig away, excluding Irawọ.
Backstory[]
Irawọ was a shaman at the age of 21 in his tribe. He was taught by the 3 Elders of the tribe, and once he learned enough, he commanded the power of the stars themselves to help the tribe grow and thrive using Star Magic. One day, when he was much older, Irawọ realized that an opposing tribe on the island would be able to track the magical artifact the Elders had created, the Stardust Stone. Irawọ told his tribe to relocate. He fought the enemy tribe and won with the help of the Stardust Stone. The enemy tribe fled off the island. Irawọ was the only one left. He meditated in front of the Stardust Stone‘s guardian statue, and eventually, it spoke to him. The statue assured him that his tribe was still alive out there somewhere. It gave him the courage he needed to go on, before returning to its duty. Irawọ eventually met Gooey, Opal, and Bill, and formed Gooey’s flock. Irawọ and his tribe speak a language called Yoruba (Look it up). His name means Star in Yoruba.
